Plan to arrive early, to provide margin and settle into the present, as transitions from work, home and traffic need space and time to adjust from. I will orient our group to our location, help tune us into our senses and compass points for our work together and to the map of the preserve. We introduce ourselves within the intimate group of 8 or less and we collectively set intentions for our time together. Breathwork, stretching and a guided relaxation practice follow and allow for a pause between our busy outer life and work and our inner life and being. We will walk deep into the preserve together with time and space to explore on our own with guided exercises to help one connect to your natural surroundings and inner experience. Embodied practices will be used to help us to tune into nature's rhythm and our connection to that rhythm. Time and space will be carved out for private and public reflection and sharing. Sharing is not a requirement for our time together but you may find increased connection if you decide to do so.
What to wear?
We meet rain or shine, so check the weather and dress accordingly. Tennis shoes/boots are recommended.
Parking is available in the lot across from the Walmart at the Tucker Nature Preserve. If the spots are full, please park at the Walmart across from the preserve and walk over at the crosswalk on Lawrenceville Hwy.
